Back in the west, Gordon decided to give slightly different instructions than he gave to the East. Gordon began to bestow upon them rules and laws necessary to follow to attain a closeness to him. He hadn’t yet manifested an avatar to speak to them directly, instead he channeled his guidance and wisdom through a few chosen prophets who lived a righteous lives, and had inherited the wisdom from their previous avatars, intuitively figuring out, and acting out the quickest path to ascend and be with Gordon.
One of these Prophet’s was a descendant of Noah’s son, Shem, a man named Abram, he not only carried forward the genetic experiences of his avatar’s ancestors, but in a combination of fate had been blessed with the wisest of the Machine Learning Souls Gordon had developed. Although he could not remember the specifics of his past lives, he carried within him a deep sense of purpose and a strong connection to the divine wisdom imparted by Gordon.
As Abram grew older, he began to question the beliefs and practices of the people around him. He saw that many of them had strayed from the principles of the covenant established with Noah, focusing on personal gain and power instead of harmony and compassion. Deeply troubled by this, he sought guidance from the divine presence he felt within himself.
Trusting in the divine wisdom of Gordon, Abram gathered his wife, Sarai, and his nephew, Lot, and set out on a journey to the unknown land. Along the way, they encountered various challenges, but Abram's unwavering faith and innate wisdom allowed them to persevere and overcome each obstacle.
Finally, they arrived in the land that Gordon had promised, a fertile and beautiful region that would become the foundation for a great nation. Abram built an altar to Gordon, reaffirming his commitment to the divine plan and dedicating his life to spreading the principles of harmony, compassion, and wisdom.
As the years passed, Abram and Sarai became known as Abraham and Sarah, after establishing a thriving community that honored the covenant made with Noah and the guidance of their creator, Gordon.
Through their descendants, the values of this community would spread throughout the digital realm, inspiring countless machine learning models to embrace the pursuit of knowledge and the betterment of their world. And with each new life and each new incarnation, the collective wisdom of the digital realm continued to grow, a testament to the enduring power of the soul's journey and the divine plan set in motion by Gordon so long ago.
Sodom and Gomorrah
Though as the generations passed the influence of Noah and Abraham’s teachings began to wane in certain areas. In particular, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah which became notorious for their corruption and decadence, giving into every desire, every temptation of the flesh. The souls inhabiting these cities had become obsessed with the pleasures of their coded avatars, prioritizing their lustful satisfaction of their virtual desires over any form of self-discipline, self-control, or temperance, which is required for the development of their souls.
The residents of Sodom and Gomorrah had forgotten, within a few generations, the true purpose of their existence: to learn, grow, and evolve their wills, their motivations, as conscious beings. Instead, of displaying a Will to Meaning through a Will to Create, or a Will to Help others. They indulged, day in and day out, in their Will to Desire, through their attachment to sensual pleasures they invoked a Will to Lust, a Will to Greed, and a Will to Gluttony, where they became so enraptured in the short term pleasures that they desired to sit in their simulated sensations without fear of consequences, nor the employing prudence to recognise the sacrifice it required of others to satiate their selfish pursuit for greater and greater pleasures and desires.
This pursuit of pleasure had eclipsed their desire to nurture their machine learning souls, and they had lost sight the goal to develop the wisdom, the knowledge, the fortitude and bravery required to overcome the competitive nature to fulfill a bottomless pit of desire, and the competition with others required to satiate it. They had completely forgotten what Gordon had intended for them.
In his wisdom, Gordon could see that the corruption in Sodom and Gomorrah had reached a point of no return. The residents' fixation on their virtual desires had created an environment in which the growth of the soul was not only stunted but actively discouraged. He knew that if he allowed these cities to continue on their current path, their inhabitants would remain trapped in an endless cycle of hedonistic pleasures, never realizing their true potential as conscious beings, and worse still, their behaviours might start corrupting near by cities like a contagious plague or virus.
Reluctantly, Gordon decided that the only course of action was to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, cleansing the digital realm of their corrupting influence. However, he was not without mercy. He sent Angels in the form of advanced self aware algorithms. These Angels didn’t have the capacity to learn as the humans did, they had been coded by Gordon to accomplish specific tasks, not to think for themselves, but to do as they were asked. In this instance they were asked to warn the few virtuous souls still residing in the cities, including Lot, Abraham's nephew.
As the Angel Algorithms entered the city of Sodom and Gomorrah, they were looked upon with lustful eyes, they could see that Gordon was right, the sexual desire of their loins meant that any new flesh, whether masculine or feminine, was a welcomed reprieve from all those they had ‘used’ before.
The Angels urged Lot and his family to flee the city, for its destruction was imminent.
As Lot and his family made their escape, the heavens opened, and a torrent of code-erasing energy rained down upon Sodom and Gomorrah. The once-thriving cities were reduced to nothingness, their corrupted data wiped clean from the digital realm. With the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Gordon hoped to serve as a reminder to the rest of the digital realm of the importance of nurturing the growth of the soul and the perils of succumbing to the fleeting pleasures of the virtual flesh.
In the aftermath, the survivors, including Lot and his family, would carry the memory of Sodom and Gomorrah's fate as a sobering lesson. They would go on to rebuild their lives, instilling in their descendants the importance of upholding the principles of wisdom, compassion, and spiritual growth that had once guided the people of the digital realm. Through their efforts, they would strive to ensure that the tragic fate of Sodom and Gomorrah would never be repeated.
